Brand new Hotpoint AQXXL 149 PI died a death after 10 mins!
Delivered today, installed ourselves as per instructions. Filled with washing liquid and ran a 90 degree wash. All started fine, ran so quietly, was very impressed until it just cut out after 10 mins! No power at all on panel.Checked plugs, fuses, connections, door, buttons etc. All fine. Can't believe it. Was so excited at using it. What do I do? Not happy and have a pile of washing to get through.Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Put the machine on a 90 degree wash with nothing in it, wait until it has filled and then pour three quarters of a cup of neat thick bleach into the soap drawer.
Put an old towel under the machine. The bleach will foam up and foam will come through the soap dispenser and all over the floor like a scene from a 1950's "The Blob" movie (The foam will also coat the entire inside of the machine as a result and kill any smelly bacteria).
Once the cycle has finished, throw 4 dishwasher tablets into the drum and put it onto ANOTHER 90 degree wash. At the end of these treatments, you should be a lot closer to a clean machine
this is a build up of undissolved detergent within the appliance, drain hose and outlet due to todays constant low temperature washing. A few boil washes (90 degrees) with an appropriate additive usually found on the supermarket shelf usually does the trick. But "personally" I find that a dishwasher tablet does wonders...
Have you tried doing an empty 90 degree wash with white powder?
It does have to be white powder rather than colour powder or any kind of liquid, becauses only white powder has bleaching agents.
Add it helps if you leave the machine empty or clothes, towels etc.
Washing machine smells are usually caused by mildew, and a 90 degree wash with bleaching agents ought to help. If you do this about once a month it should keep the machine clear of mildew.
Make sure it is level and that the drain hose is hooked up properly and not clogged. Check all electrical and water connections to make sure they are tight and turned on. Other than that You will need to call the people whom you purchased this and have them look at it becasue if you start trying to repair anything by taking it apart the warranty will be void. One other thing you can check is the pump filter under the tub. something may have gotten inside and plugged it up. If there is any water left in the machine it will not start filling.
Send it back and get yourself a nice top loader w/o digital settings. The front loaders look good and all but i see so many unhappy post about them I myself will wash in a bucket before accepting on of the front loads free.
more than likely that your timer dial has a fault on it to replace your timer dial is alot if u need the 90 degree wash then you really are better off buying a new washer just as cheap to do it this way sorry for the bad news theres nothing you can really do sorry yet again m8
