It must be returned to the Trio

This may be unrelated, but if you let the tablet go to sleep it will drain the battery. I found this out with my Stealth Pro about three months ago, I imagine it is more of an Android issue. It would not startup or go past the opening logo until I had charged it enough. This may also be the case if the battery is damaged or will not take a charge, in theory.

(1) Go to the following webpage: www.triotablets.com/manuals
(2) Look down the left side of the page and locate the model number of YOUR tablet.
(3) Click on it and it SHOULD open as a .pdf in your browser.
(4) Save the file on yout computer, or print it out.

Smear butter on it, then apply water. After that, use 1 tbsp of corn syrup and glue mixed. Wait for it to dry for at least 24 1/2 hours

Hi, i got exactly the same problem with my Aiptek Trio Pencam HD, and i solved it !!! :D
I opened it, you got to remove 6 screws:
2 screws at the bottom, 2 screws on the side, remove the plastic clip, remove the plastic cover over the cam, it is fixed with adhesive, and remove the last 2 screw.
Now open your cam, now you can see the electric circuit of the cam, and on this electric circuit you can see another little circuit with a chip, it is cliped, mine wasn't cliped correctly, try to clip it, and be sure that doesn't move.
