Question about Proview PL916S2 Monitor
I was given this monitor because they said it didn't work. It has power but I cannot get a screen to come up on it. I need to know what I have to do to fix this problem. It is in great shape and the lady didn't want to pay to fix the problem. Let me know what I have to do and to try to fix this problem. thank you. I have the same Proview PL916s and i have the same problem. I replaced all 6 470 25v and it worked for a while. then I replaced the 220 25v and still doing the same thing. It comes on for about 3 seconds and it goes black. the power indicator stays green. Do i just need to replace the whole board? I cannot find any parts store online that sales the inverter board.
I managed to solve the same problem by replacing the six 470uf 25v capacitors. I have notice that the old ones has a bulging top.

This trouble maybe power supply or inverter boards is defective.
first you can test the voltage of the multr,and then check which part is defective.From Wisiny.com can find those parts
