Question about Alpine CDA-7863 CD Player

Stuck cd i have a 96 vw jetta and my alpine cda-7863 wont eject the cd that is currently stuck in there. maybe i am blind but i cant find another eject button. it plays the radio just fine but the cd wont play or eject. any helpful hints??

Behind the faceplate there should be a reset button, you can try pushing that button to see if it'll eject the CD.

Just bought vehicle with cda-7863 how to acess cds


The cd player must have an eject cd button by the top left hand corner or right hand corner, you shouldnt have a hard time locating it.

I have an alpine cda-9883 cd won't eject & error


try detaching the "face" and there should be a little button that you can only push in with some kid of really thin stick,maybe a pin that will reset the cd player and hopefully work

Change the time


press and hold clock button for atleast 3 seconds while the time is displayed until time blinks.rotate the mode knob until the hour is correct. press the mode button to adjust your minutes. when done press mode button again to set.

this makes good sense ill try it mine done the same thing and when out in had hook strait to battery i was trying to find the short thinking face plate or wire harness i found i can lightly squeeze the unit and it go off what would be the best shim
