Office with an old AK Ranger phone system. ( Just looking to see if it supports 2 wire xtns now ).
Receptionists do numerous tasks at various locations within the office.
What was initially thought ideal was a wireless headset attached to the xtn / station as per the GN9120 -
#
But this only allows answering and disconnecting calls via a wireless electro-mechanical handset lifta-upper & puta-downer.
Can't hold or transfer calls, etc.
What now seems to be the ticket is a cordless phone as a 2 wire station but, ideally, it needs a Blutooth type of headset to avoid the neck- shoulder phone holdng position whilst typing, whatever.
I wasn't aware of seperate Bluetooth plug-in base units ( or whatever they're called ).
Answering calls would be no problem as they'd be carrying the station / xtn with them. Same for transferring calls, etc, although a function button on the earpiece would be easier.
The main problem is just holding a handset when trying to do other things, during a call.

"Magilla" < I don't know of any off-hand. There are plenty of BT headsets with BT transmitter/receivers that will plug into any mini-plug receptacle (like most cordless phones have). The only problem is, as you mentioned, how to answer the call in the first place.
