Car has a 2.4L after driving for about 30 min.(for the first time during the day) acts like running out of gas if i put it in nutral and rev it a few times it is ok and run fine the rest of the day has over half tank of gas

check engine lite did come on O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1
that is the upstream o2 sensor

more than likely it is the manifold air pressure sensor. replacement cost me about 51 dollars. easy to get to and easy to replace.

Why would you replace the fuel pump and filter for a compression problem. You either have a bad cylinder head, or a bad motor. Those are the only 2 things that will give you low compression. If you are talking about the engine revving up while driving down the road, you have a transmission problem.

have the fuel pressure and volume tested with a gage.this sounds and acts like a fuel pump problem.check the fuel filter as well and replace anyways.when it won`t start but cranks can you hear the fuel pump running.listen at the fuel filler neck with the gas cap off.if you can`t listen under the car at the fuel tank you should hear it running/if not hit the gas tank and if the car starts then the pump needs replacing.you should check to make sure you are getting spark at the spark plugs to eliminate an ignition problem but i think its fuel.
