Question about HP PSC 1350 All-In-One Thermal Printer

HP PSC 1300 keeps reinstalling itself

It seems every time I reboot the computer or add a new device and sometimes just when it wants to, my HP PSC 1300 starts its installation process. Any ideas?

Sounds like it may be the USB port the device is plugged into. Are you using a USB hub with multiple ports? Try changing the USB port the device is plugged into and see if it happens on others ports as well or not.

Cant find hp psc 1350 on list of hp printers


HP "series" numbering can be somewhat confusing, but Windows 7 does have the correct driver for your printer.
For the HP PSC 1350, you will need to use the 1300 series driver.

The 1310 series driver is for models numbered 131x (e.g., 1315, 1318).

Please follow the sequence below:
Unplug the device from the computer.
From Control Panel->Ad Remove Progs uninstall the device.
Reboot the computer.
Reinstall the device.
Plug in the device and allow Windows to auto detect the device and load its drivers.
Use the program provided by HP to scan.

HP PSC 1210 PRINTER switches off when print command is given. Scanner and copier works fine. unintalled and reintalled several time .problem persists

It seems that the printer drivers are corrupted while the copier and scanner drivers are fine. Disconnect the device from the computer, uninstall the device from Control Panel->Add Remove Programs and reboot.

Once rebooted, reinstall the device drivers from the CD that came with the device. Connect the device and allow Windows to autodetect it and load its drivers. Windows will tell you in the right bottom of the screen "The new hardware is installed and is ready for use".

Start printing.

A COMMON HP PROBLEM. TRY TO UNINSTAL THE SOFTWARE. REBOOT COMPUTER AND REINSTALL SOFTWARE. GO TO HP AND TRY TO UPDATE THE DRIVERS, ALSO GO TO MICROSOFT UPDATE TO SEE IF EVERYTHING IS CURRENT. SEE IF U ARE USING THE LATEST .NET SYSTEM ON YOUR COMPUTER. IN THE ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS U WILL FIND A LIST OF ALL THE CURRENT PROGRAMS ON UR SYSTEM.

I cannot connect the hp psc 2175 to my computer


Check your usb cable works fine.
check your computer usb ports are works fine.
Try with usb prots 1 by 1.
Also uninstall driver then reinstall.

Running vista now. it has drivers for the printer but scanner and copier drivers are on setup disc as the disc does not support the new opperating system it will not read the disc so just wondering if...


If you don't use the HP software (i don't on my 1300 series) Uninstall all of it.
Then go to device manager and remove the printer,then reboot(while rebooting unplug the printer from the computer) and then once the computer is up, plug the printer to the computer, it will find the printer and let it search for drivers, it should find vista drivers for the 1300 series

if this may not work try this additional steps:

Go to Control panel>printers>Right click on the printer and select properties then ports and see if it set as a USB port if not you may have to create one

1. Create a new user, login and try to use the software...the user profile you are using could be corrupt...I have seen HP Director act really strange due to a profile problem

2. Fully uninstall the software via Add/Remove Programs, rebooting. Re-installing the software, rebooting then trying the program again.

3. Try the device in a different USB port (force the hardware to reinstall in a default style.
