Its because the belt has deteriorated //loosened. It needs to be replaced. It's a simple job if you have the "REPAIR" manuel in which to explain the steps/manor to remove and replace the belt.. The portable is a different setup then the full size washer. A repair man will charge about $75.00 an hour (should not take more then 20 min but will still charge the hour) plus some charge travel time/gas. The part you can by on line for less then $10.00 (with s&h) where the repair man will charge at least 3 times that for the part (belt). Good luck finding a "REPAIR" manual.
This is a problem with the signal from the water heating element "Thermistor" a Thermistor is a solid state sensor that senses temperature, in this case water temp. The Thermistor is part of the washers water heating assembly and not sold separately from it. There is a factory repair bulletin associated with the problem and the new part has improved reliability. I can't understand what the Maytag folks you called would tell you it is not listed, it is a common fault in the Neptune. Please rate my help. Thanks
The F05 fault is nothing to do with what soaps you use.. Its a little red wire located at the front bottom centre of your aquasteam washer that has come lose or detached. A task to get to it but pretty easy and dodgey repair men would have your pants down for such a simple thing
Hi, LE code stands for locked motor error. When this error code appears in your front load washer it indicates a fault in the motor unit. 1 . Check the connections to the Coil/Stator at the rear of the unit possibly it should be something like a broken wire. 2 . Coil/Stator Assembly will be defective preventing the drive to operate. You should go for a replacement of that assembly. Thank you !!
With this Washer you are going to need the Factory Repair Manual. It will give you all the diagnostics and troubleshooting you need to find the issue and repair it. This are rather involved machines and you will need the guidance of the manual to better assist you on this. Especially when it comes to getting into the machine to replace the defective parts.
The thermistor is located in a grommet in the heater element, which is located at the bottom of the tub at the rear of the m/c, access by removing lower rear panel.
If not there it will be at the front of the m/c, just twist and pull the thermistor out of the grommet.Replace.
You said, Your LGWM2277H washer LE light flashes. Troubleshooting guide says overload
in motor. Is there a reset on the motor that needs reset or does
something else need done. washer was working fine until we put a big
load of jeans in to wash. when we checked wash soapy water was in
washer and I can't get it to rinse. drum is not turning.
If you overload, with to much clothes the weight will trigger this error your having in most washer. Take some clothes out.
Then try this: Unplug the washer for 5 minutes, or if you can't reach the plug, turn the breaker off for 5 minutes and then the system should reset itself! Let me know.I'm looking right now for any reset code in the repair manual too! Huuum Please remember to leave a rating.
