- The self-test that Sony recommends in their manual shows all 4 colors as confirmation that the monitor is "working." I paralleled the monitor with a laptop screen. Everywhere the screen showed red, the sony monitor showed black. So I conclude that the monitor "knows" red but the adjustment may be off. How to adjust RGB? - GuestMay 15, 2009
