Question about Kenmore 22422 Top Load Washer
The washer is capable of spinning, but "chooses" not to most of the time. I have to manually turn the dial to another "spin" option on a different cycle to get it to work. Now I am down to just one spin option left that works on the whole dial. I'm thinking soon that one won't work either...
The timer needs to pause the motor after the water is drained from the tub to lock the spin cam in the transmission. The timer may be bad and not pausing the motor but the only way to know for sure is to do some electrical testing with a volt/ohm meter and the wiring diagram located within the appliance.
