Question about Canon PowerShot A540 Digital Camera
This camera always printed the date on any photo that I took. However, it no longer does so and the indicator on the REC Menu is grayed out
Hi, my name is Rob, and I can help you.
Your camera comes with a Date battery. It is a small lithium coin battery, model number CR1220. Well, it's toast. It seems like they don't last long because they're inserted at the time of manufacture.
Just pick up another one and re-install it.
You'll find it inside the battery/SD card compartment. Hook your nail under it and pull it up. Make sure you note how it sits in the holder so you can easily return the fresh one. - Minus side goes up
