The firmware in your camera may nedd to be updated. This is a simple process that requires your usb cable, and this link. Be sure to plug your camera into a power source and remove your cards before you upgrade. Also you need to be sure to format your cards before you start taking pictures. If you dont format you could be receiving error messages.

I cannot download pics from my Fuji finepix T200 to my computer, the camera works fine and the pc is new, could it be the usb lead

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa.

Do you really need the Fuji software?

! Protected card reads on my screen when I turn on camera..I tried taking card out several times and put back in

Take the memory card out of your camera and look at it. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

Hi there please follow the steps and let me know the result.
1. Ensure batteries are fully charged & clean the battery connector point in side the battery compartment.

My camera says my card is not intialized! My card has been cleaned new batteries went into camera.

You said the card was cleaned? if the card was formatted in a computer the camera will not recognize it. If you are fortunate the card may be formatted the camera and then work for you.

Always format in the camera never delete an image even though there is a trash can for it format don't delete.

What does "protected card" mean? I have a 2GB Kodak memory card in my Fujifilm/12.2 camera. Lost manuel. Thanks.

It means that the card has been write protected thru the menu program in the camera. To fix this, you will have to go thru the menu and set it to unprotected.
Obtaining a manual for this camera is as simple as going to the Fuji website and downloading the manual in PDF format to your computer.

My FinePix S1800 Fujifilm Digital SLR camera says Frame No. Full''

Go to set up then Frame and change to RENEW. It is probably on continuous. My camera did the same thing and this solved it.
Apparently even thought the card is empty if it is on continuous it will start the picture numbering where you left off last time.

My camera frezis up after i take a pic

This can happen with a lot of cameras if the picture quality is set to "Hi" or "RAW", and the memory card is a slow one.  I think that most Fuji models take an XD card, but if you have a slow (usually equates to cheap or small capacity) or one with a CF card, then it could lock up for several minutes while the picture is being written to the card.
If this started just after you had bought a new card, and you have not changed the camera settings, get a quality card.

I have a finepix s5600camera. will the olympus xd m+ 2g memory card work in it? if not what is the highest memory and type or brand i can get please

I use a Fujifilm M 2gb xd card in my S5600.
As a rule I stay with fuji xd cards because I, and a few other people, have had some previous issues with Olympus cards in Fuji cameras.
Some compatability issues have occured with software. Some times they work and then fail with out notice which is a bummer when you want to use it.
Also not sure as to the firmware updates on this model to allow for newer high capacity memory cards
