Cannot get web cam to work says web session has ended

How are you trying to use your web cam? (skype, stickam, yahoo?) it could be your webcam its self, but very unlikely, if your webcam works, but only shortly, its probably a driver error. in your control pannel you can access your cameras settings through control pannel/ scanners and cameras. hope this helps

Integrated webcam wont work on MSN Live IMer. Nor can I view other contacts webcam's. It pops up and I see my face but they don't see mine, then a minute later it says the webcam session has ended.

do you tried click on broadcast

On aim my webcam wont turn on during video session

Re-install AIM. Remove it first, then re-install with camera hooked up. Make sure another application does not already have control of the camera....

Webcam not working..

Hello,
check your messenger's video settings to see if the setting has the default webcam. If not change it to the webcam available in your laptop. If the problem persists, then uninstall and reinstall your messenger. this would probably solve the issue.

Good luck!

My webcam just randomly turned off and i dont know how to turn it on again when i try to use it, it says webcam is in use and its nott

Have your computer search for the program "Acer OrbiCam" and click on it when you find it. That should bring up a small window controlling the orbicam and a larger window displaying the picture being captured by the camera.

Also, your Acer can maintain multiple concurrent user sessions. You may be using the computer in one session and there may be another user session open at the same time, with the camera in use in that other session. Try shutting down and restarting the computer.
