Remanufactured cartridges have too many problems. I have be using refillable with auto-reset chips and never have a problem. Google- refillable cartridges and be sure to use the proper ink, dye base or pigment. It makes a difference.
You can diagnose most problems by checking the control panel LED's for ink out, paper-out or copier problem. If a problem occurs while you're printing, you'll see an error message in the progress window on your computer. It may also be helpful to try running a printer nozzle check.

This model Canon/Epson printer may only let you use genuine Epson printer cartridges. If you try to refill these ink cartridges it will not work because the Epson cartridges have an embedded chip in the cartridge that detects the empty cartridge even though it has been refilled.
Follow these steps: 1. Buy an Epson ink refill kit. A refill kit gives you all the tools you need to refill Epson ink cartridges. Kits typically include a syringe, rivets, ink, and instructions on how to refill the cartridge. You can find Epson ink refill kits on the Printer Filling Station along with instructions for each specific model (see Resources). 2. Cover your workspace with a paper towel and fill up the syringe with the ink color you need. Epson refill kits will either include black ink or the color combination cyan, yellow and magenta. On average, you'll need 10 ml of black ink or 5 ml of color ink for Epson ink cartridges. 3. Find the rubber seals on the back of the Epson ink cartridge. Insert the rivets into each seal. 4. Empty the contents of the syringe into the Epson ink cartridge. You'll want to perform this action slowly in order to avoid spilling or overfilling the cartridge. 5. Remove the rivets. Use tape to cover the holes you made in the ink cartridge. Return the ink cartridge to the printer. Allow the printer to go through several print cycles in order to ensure that the Epson printer operates properly.
A clone cartridge is a type of third-party ink cartridge that uses an identical chip to the original ink cartridge. People buy cloned cartridges to save money, since original cartridges are more expensive. However, sometimes the Epson printer does not recognize the cloned ink cartridge. After you install the cartridge, you might receive a message that says "An ink cartridge cannot be recognized." In this case, you will have to disable the Epson printer monitor.
#1 Wait until you are out of ink. The warning light and ink-low notifications come on well before the ink cartridge is empty, and even if it runs out of ink in the middle of a print, you can replace it then and finish the print with no problem. #2 Lift the lid of your Epson inkjet printer to expose the ink cartridge replacement button. Make sure you have plenty of light so you can see what you are doing. #3 Press the ink cartridge replacement button. This will loosen the empty ink cartridges so they can be pulled up and out. #4 Fill the empty cartridge at an ink-refilling location, or buy a new ink cartridge to replace the empty one. #5 Insert the new or refilled ink cartridge into the holder with the same orientation as the previous one. #6 Press the cartridge replacement button to charge the system and close the printer cover. Charging takes about one minute
Thanks for using Fixya.
You won't need to drill hole anywhere.
Visit this link to get all the instructions required to refill the ink in Epson T0711 cartridge.
But remember you would need a chip resetter gun to re set the chips on the ink cartridges after you refill the cartridges.
Visit this link to buy Universal chip reseter if you don' t have.
Epson cartridges cannot be refilled like normal cartridges. They use a special ink. You would be better off buying a replacement cartridge as I've never heard of a good result with anyone who has attempted to refill an Epson. Usually leads to havong to replace a printer. Sorry I don't have a better solution.
