Hello there, the internal battery is aLi-Poly 350mah is hard to find, you can try in a hobbyist shop but i recommend get the battery off of the blueant to do, you will need a Tri-wing screwdriver (the one for wii, nds or cellphone) in my case i did prefer take the two wires of battery off and put outside of unit, then solder to a Nokia BLC-5c battery hidden inside the helmet and get a great improvement of battery time (almost 24 hours of continued use)

I have two interphone headsets that we have used for 4 years. We have begun to only have battery life for 2-3 hours. Is there a way to change batteries? Any help will be appreciated. They have...

With the BT Interphone that I have (~4yrs), one unit's battery would last <1hr. I carefully cut the rubber case along the bottom mold mark to remove the circuit board. The battery is a 3.7v 600 mah lipo. These are available from a variety of hobby shop sources, but are 650mah. $7-15 ea. Very careful cutting of the rubber case and minimal heat soldering is critical in installing a new cell. I'll use 3m weatherstrip adhesive to close it up.
Otherwise a complete new 3rd generation BT set-up is about $90 online. Mine still works good though.

Tomtom 930 will not pair with Interphone 4

Sadly, it's not possible to do what you want.

The lower cost, non bike specific units only have limited BT capability - so that they can act as a handsfree for a phone - which is what Interphone does, so there's fundamental incompatibility.

The best units with Interphone are Garmin Zumo 550 (NOT 660) or TomTom Rider 2.

Only one person can hear the gps (and the range is only 10m from Interphone to gps)

Your best bet could be to get phones with gps capability - it's free on some of the new Nokias.

We Want music on the Harley!!!

I dont believe the interphone is compatible with music players. Bluetooth devices utilize various communication 'profiles' to interact vith other devices. The Blueant supports headset and handsfree profiles which are designed for connection to a mobile phone. Music devices use the A2DP (advanced audio distribution protocol) profile which is much more sophisticated than headset or handsfree. It may be possible to get music playing via a phone or pda that has a built in music player and sends its output via bluetooth using the headset profile. This is not a usual feature (the first iPhones for instance was able to do this because of a bug in their software) so you will have to test or inquire with the phone manufacturer.

Chenge the battery

Response to Wasilij: The belt is sealed, so it can be used while swimming. It's not meant to be opened. They replace the whole thing, instead of replacing the battery. So sorry, not going to work.
