Question about Whirlpool GEW9250 Electric Dryer
With the door open and the timer set to run the heater heats up. When the timer is in the stop spot it doesn't heat up.
Element may be grounded

Are you kidding me? what are you talking about? whyyy are you running it with the door open???????? the unit iis not suposed to work when timer is on STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the door switch was a 3 terminal device, and all three terminals had a wire going to them, did you get the NO and NC wires connected to the right place?
You should be able to follow the circuit that can be found on the back service panel or inside the control head.
