Pc game (Hasbro Tonka Dig n Rigs) freezes following set up intro

I have several older pc cd games, but there is one I am unable to play. Tonka Dig n Rigs with play set. OS I have is win xp multimedia and win xp prof. I have tried the compatibility option, but the games freezes at the end of the instructions on how to set up the play set on your keyboard. I have also tried to disable hardware acceleration, but none of these options have worked. Is there anything else I can try in order to play (my son, age 4) these? Any help will be much appreciated, thank-you.

Thank-you, I could not believe it! I thought I had tried everything. My little guy has been wanting and trying to play this game since he found it in his brother's room weeks ago. Nothing I did worked. He was very disappointed. So, again, thank-you. You made him very happy - Mom too! Much appreciated.

Have you tried the direct x the game supports? That seems to be your best bet there.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I am unable to uninstall Tonka search and rescue 2 from my pc, I am running windowsxp

Try the following steps to uninstall that game to your computer :
1. Go to START 2. Click on Control panel 3. Select Add/Remove program 4. Wait for it to load all the programs/application installed on your computer 5. When it is done, find Tonka search and rescue 2 and click remove 6. A window will prompt you if you are sure about uninstalling the program click "yes" 7. A window will then appear again confirming the removal of that game
Hope this helps.

Game freezes

Could be settings - have you got them maxxed out ? Can your rig handle the game, Doom 3 will run on a slow machine, but only gives about 1 frame a minute, instead of 60 frames per second. It could also be your PC is unable to cope with the power requirements of the new card or it is getting too hot as their is insufficient airflow in your case.
