Question about Symbol LS9100 Hands Free
I have an LS 9100 attached to my PC and have used the manuals to reset it to factory defaults. It is hooked up via a PS2 wedge. The scaner can read the programming bar codes properly but when I try to read a numeric bar code, it beeps correctly but does not display the numbers on the screen. I have a unidirectional Symbol scanner (hooked up via USB), which does work correctly.
Any thoughts or ideas why the data is not being passed to the computer screen?
also does anyone have an inexpensive source for getting additional LS9100 PS2 wedge cables?
Have a look at the HOST setting in your defaults. I set one of these to default and had the same result. I'm guessing it's because the HOST is blank on Default settings.
