How do I get my ProScan on channel 73

We pushed a wrong button on the front of my Pro Scan.  I can only get channels VID1, VID2, 11, 20, 30 & 36.  I have to get it on 73 so I can get my Dish network back.

You can manually input 073 with the remote when the remote is in tv mode and on one of the channels that you do get.

this link will download the ProScan 32LA30Q owners manual with
complete instructions on setting up the tv and programing channels.

Thanks for using Fix Ya, please take the time to give this solution a Fix Ya ratting.

How do I get the tv on channel 73?

Instead of doing an automatic scan of TV Channels, you might have to go into the setting and manually add channel 73.

If it's not an actual tuned channel, chances are that's why an auto-scan wouldn't find it.

Tv is hooked up to dish. channel 73 for dish programing. channel 73 was inadvertly deleted using remote, how do i get it back? thanks, dab

In the menu on the TV there will be a section for channels. There you can add or delete existing channels. Or you can just push the 7 and 3 button ion the remote then hit enter and it should go right to the Channel.

How do I unlock channels (pro-2055)

the unlock command is done from the manual mode.

If you scanner is in the scan mode, push the "MANUAL"button to stop the scanning feature.

Next you need to go to the channel you want to unlock. If you are only a few channels away, while in the manual mode, push the up or down arrows to step (one push per channel to be stepped though) to the channel to be unlocked.

A direct method is to enter the channel number on the keypad and then push the "manual" button. The display should show the channel you desire.

If the channel lockout is on, the second line on the display will show "LO+". Push the keypad button marked "L/OUT" once. The "LO+" should change on the display from uppercase to a lowercase "lo+". The channel is now unlocked.

I had the same problem and finally sloved it. You have to leave the input channels ( Vid1, Vid2, SVid, Cmpt, HDMI, etc ) in the In Channel List. So push the INPUT button, go to VID1, press Menu, go down to List & Labels then check In Channel list. Do this for all the inputs and then run your Channel search again. I hope this works for you. It did for me.

Proscan vcr psvr70

Sounds like it's wired up wrong...try this:
take cable line to VCR in, VCR out to cable/receiver box(if you have one) then box to TV...it sounds like the vcr is getting the channels from the box and not the vcr...you will need to have the vcr scan the channels (round in the settings menu) You will also be able to watch and record 2 different things.

Setting up playstation

The PS50700 uses the PTK195 series chassis. You can switch the TV to the video mode by pressing MENU, press channel down 3 times to highlight "4 Channel", press MENU, press channel down twice to highlight "3 List and Labels", and then press MENU. The current channel will be highlighted, and you will press channel down until you go below channel 1, which is where the video inputs are (VID1, VID2, FRNT). To exit, press MENU, choose "Exit", press MENU and choose "Exit" again, or just wait until the menu times out. An easier way is to get a universal remote that has an "INPUT" button.
