Re: password is denied
Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds and that will clear there password out. Wait until the power light stops blinking then try again. That is the only way to reset the password back to Admin and password.

You need to use your browser to log in to your router. Locate the guest account in the menu and set a new password. If you'd like, many routers allow you to disable guest accounts entirely. If you need specific step-by-step instructions, I need to know what brand and model router you are using, what OS your computer has, and what browser you use for accessing the internet.

Rather than using WEP which is not completely secure try using WPA-PSK. When selecting WPA, there will be only one password box to open. From there you can enter the password you want to use and save the configuration. If you want to use WEP, when the page with 4 encryption keys opens up, go to the box for the first key and enter the password there. If needed select the shared key option and save the configuration.
Perform a hard reset by pressing the button behind the small hole (use a paper clip) as you power it on. That will reset the router to it's factory settings. From there you can log in with the default password. Of course, you'll to reconfigure it from scratch but at least you'll be in control again. Be sure to change the password to something more secure.
Also, some routers will allow you to deny configuration access from wireless clients.
You need a better password, something that you have not used before. Start out with 4 number, add a word or two with an underscore between them and add four more numbers or three numbers and a special character (like an equal or dollar sign). You do this and you will be become too difficult and the hackers will bother someone else.
