Check the drain hoses by removing the dishdrawers from the machine and pulling on the hoses. I installed a Fisher Paykel DD602 about a month ago and the bottom drawer was not draining. I removed the drawer and freed up the drain hose and the machine worked fine.

there should be tabs on the sides of the drawers at the sliders near the front of the machine. These are usually plastic and you need to take a flat head screwdriver and push in on these tabs while the tab is pushed in, you should be able to slide the door slider back away from the door. do one side at a time. once you have both sliders pulled back, you can grab hold of the drawer from both sides and pull up and the drawer will come out of the sliders. you may need to pull the drawer out with some force to free the drawer from the sliders. move the drawer to the left (with both sliders returned into the machine in the closed position) and you will have access to the machine from this point to check the drain lines. When finished slide out both sliders and pick up the drawer and you should be able to snap the drawer into the sliders and make sure you cn move the sliders frely along the track to the most open position you will feel the sliders click back into place and the door should close and open freely withourt resistance.

Code 37 -

Hi,

To my knowledge, Error Code 37 on a Fisher & Paykel machine refers to "drain fault" which could either mean that the drain valve will not open or that the drain pump will not run. The easiest user intervention that could be performed is to check for any blockage/clog at the drain filter, drain pipe, drain pump impeller and drain valve.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Replace dishwasher drain hose F&P DW60

The attached assembly document might be helpful. To access the drain hose at the dishwasher end your best bet is to pull the dishwasher out from under kitchen cabinet and lay it on the floor on its side. Make sure you disconnect the mains power and the hose connections first. The hose should be accessible from the bottom of dishwasher.

Fisher and paykel dish draw not draining

If the problem is with both drawers, then most likely kitchen side drain is blocked. But if only one drawer, then need to clean filter and drain sump at base or if pump motor is not running then replace the pump rotor.

Fisher and paykel dishwasher top draw does not unload water after the wash

The pump is faulty or the drain hose is blocked. You need to take the pump rotor out from the base of the drawer and inspect the sump for blockages. Usually a seed or chicken bone stuck between the drain sump and the pump rotor sump.
