Question about Magic Chef CER3740 Electric Kitchen Range
My Magic Chef oven will take a very long time to heat up to a low temp. When I make cookies, the oven will take at least 45 minutes to heat up to the required amount. Does anyone know why it takes so long or does anyone have the same problem?

Sounds like the thermostat controlling the gas valve in the oven is not working, I’m trying to find if the oven igniter is electric, but believe the igniter is electric. If it does light then not regulate the temp above 350 degrees, I am convinced the thermostat control is bad.
