Question about LG Shine KE970 Cellular Phone
Hi. My girlfriend bought an LG KE970 shine phone off her mate and it is locked to orange and she is on vodaphone. The IMEI number is 356129014888520. I have done some digging and I have found a file on the phone called IXDB.Dat. This contains the code 1167765165:1. I think this is the unlocking code but have no idea how or where to enter it. Please can you hepl. Many thanks.

I'm glad that there are other people out there was having this problem. I spent about a total of 48 hours talking to the AT&T customer service to see what the hell the problem was with my phone not picking up service. The couldn't really help me. So...
I did some research and found that T-Mobile is the largest GSM provider for Triband and Quadband phones. I have the Lg KE970 and since it's a triband phone, I was really hoping that t-mobile would give me great service with it. NOW...
The next thing that I did was contacted T-Mobile to see if the coverage was good in my area (Lubbock, Texas) and they said it was excellent. So then I went from there.
The next thing that I did was went to wal-mart to pick a up a free sim card and as soon as I popped it it, BAM!!!, 5 bars. So right then and there, I called up T-Mobile to set up an account.
So yeah, if you didn't get any of that, just switch to T-Mobile and import your phone number there. PLUS, they have a limited time promotional offer where you get 1000 anytime minutes and free nights and weekend minutes for only $39.99.
SO switch to T-Mobile and get that plan. It's worth it and no matter what, you will still be on that plan. :-)
I hope that helped you guys!
