Hold down the (F) button for several seconds. Release button and select (General) by turning volume knob and press (enter). Now select (Power IC) by turning volume knob and press (enter). Now turn knob and select (on) then press (enter). Hold (escape) button for several seconds.

you need to reset the sirius alpine adapter, just remuve the positive (red) from battery terminal under the hood for 2 mins, or find the yellow power wire from the adaptor and disconec for 1 min.

Setting up the functions for my alpine cda-9886. not sure what settings to use for highs-mids-lows,etc


It is really a preference. Try increasing, then decreasing each on the type of music you listen to and experiment untill it sounds good to you. It will also depend on the abilities of your speakers.

I just hooked up a a cda 9886 in my car and know my subs dont work do you know what the problem could be


Your subwoofer is probably off. You have to put it on. I think you have to push the button all the way on the right that says imprint or sound setup and then dial the rotary to subwoofer and there is an adjustment or a level. You choose the one that is not level and select it then on or off. It is easy once you figure it out.

My CDA-9886 usb error


I just got an A-male to A-female USB extension cable to hook up to the back of my Alpine CDA-9886 headunit and connect to my 32GB USB. All of the songs are MP3 and works with my brother's headunit. But when the USB is plugged into my headunit, it says error. How can I fix this?

The Alpine CDA-9886 is Bluetooth ready but requires an adapter such as Alpine's KCE-400BT or a generic adapter in order to pair with a phone.
