Question about RCA RTD101 System
UNIT IS PLUGED IN HAS POWER BUT WILL NOT COME ON
You can check the fuse inside the init, take the top off and look i nthe area where the A/C cord goes to the board. Make sure the unit is not plugged into an outlet when you take the top off. You can be shocked and even worse.
If the glass fuse is OK, you will need it checked by a technician. There are no magic cures for this type of problem. It could be the transformer, a component in the power supply, the control micro, and a host of other things that can all cause this problem. Without some electronics background and all the right equipment, yu really won't be able to fix it on your own, even with help on the internet.
