V8 soarer gearbox band adjustment

you should remove the sump of the transmission and the band adjustment nuts will be visible on the end of the bands. This is a inch lbs measurement and will have to be set exactly according to the specs.. However have you had a pressure test done first as it is not always the bands at fault but low pressure and faulty servos and incorrect oil level.

Where is the transmission dipstick in my manual 1.3 liter 1993 suzuki swift located and where do i fill it up?

LEVEL CHECK With Oil Level Gauge Fig. 1: Manual transaxle oil level check - with level gauge 84241046.gif
  1. Drive the vehicle to bring the transmission up to operating temperature.
  2. With the engine stopped, remove the oil level gauge front the side case of the transaxle.
  3. Check the color and smell of the oil. If it is black in color or smells burnt, further transmission service is needed.
  4. Wipe off oil level gauge with clean cloth.
  5. Fit the oil level gauge to the transaxle side case so that the threads rest on top of the case.
  6. Remove the gauge and check oil level. The level should be between FULL and LOW level line.
  7. If the level is below LOW mark, add oil until the proper level is reached.
With Oil Level/Filler Plug
  1. Drive the vehicle to bring the transmission up to operating temperature.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle safely.
  3. Remove the transaxle oil level/filler plug.
  4. Check the color and smell of the oil. If it is black in color or smells burnt, further transmission service is needed.
  5. Transaxle oil level should be even with the bottom of the plug hole. If oil level is low, adjust oil level accordingly.
  6. Install transaxle oil level/filler plug and tighten to 40 ft. lbs. (54 Nm).
  7. Lower the vehicle.

Canon fax l100 .........problem error100.........help me and thanks

This error means the receiver cannot receive the file properly due to poor line signal or conditions. If there's a feature that you can adjust the transmission level, try to boost it. You also need to set the speed 4800 bits per second. There are many solutions, but they can only be implemented by the technicians. This error also signifies that the receiver's machine isn't receiving the file/data because of low transmission level. If you can set the echo counter-measures, that'd be very helpful. Also try to dial the receiver's number slowly, sometimes this helps. I am sorry that I can't provide you more than these information since you'll not understand even if i do. If you insists, i'll do it for you. Good luck. Thanks for using FixYa.

Transmission slipping

You have a problem with the bands in the transmission. They will need to be adjusted to correct the problem. Also have the transmission filter changed with new transmission fluid. Check the fluid level in transmission first,if low add fluid and test drive. If its the same as before you will need to go to a transmission place to have the bands adjusted to correct the problem. Hope this will help you.

Increase the transmission level on Brother Fax 645

maintenace Mode

Menu, *, 2, 8, 6, 4

Print out the number 11 and switch 13 will tell you what level its at.

Now its bit switches so it gets tricky. In maintenace mode you choose 10 to change switches then go to switch 13.

You will have something that looks like 10111001 (binary). The last four numbers represent the transmission level. The tricky bit is that your level is in fact a minus number so want to reduce it to make it louder. The example I gave you the number you look at are 1001. The first number represents a 8, second a 4, third a 2 and the fourth a 1. The first and fourth are on ie a "1" so it equals 8 + 1 = 9 with a maximum of 16. My advise would be to take 1 or 2 of the total number that you work out.

Transmission level

I have just received the following info from Brother Support:

To adjust the transmission level on your fax, please follow these instructions:

- Press the following buttons in quick succession: (MENU, *, 2,8,6,4) These must be pressed in under 3 seconds. If done correctly, the screen will display maintenance, but if it does not, press STOP and try again until it does.
- Once maintenance is on screen, press 1, then 0. The screen will display WSW00.
- Press 13, and the screen will display WSW13=01011110
- Press the right arrow on your control panel until the cursor is underneath the 3rd last digit, and press 0. Your screen should show: WSW13=01011010
- Press SET
- Press STOP
- Press 99 to exit maintenance mode, and once back to the time and date screen, send a single page fax to 1300 368 999 and you will receive a faxed reply that will show you your transmission level and how much it has been adjusted.

Please note if your transmission level is still not in an acceptable range ( -15dB to -18dB ) then it would be best to contact the Product Support Centre on the number listed below to discuss possible fixes.

I hope this helps.

I need help with a fax machine

Sounds like you may have a noisy phone line, incorrectly set transmission level or no filters installed if using broadband adsl service, also pick up phone is it free of any background noise or crackles? (tel phone company or cable problem if noisy)

In australia there is a service for test fax level across phone line called FOLDS (Fax online diag service) maybe your carrier have one too so you can test?
