Question about Cuisinart DCC-1200 Coffee Maker
When i close the top and press the button for the coffee to brew, the beeping begins which usually indicates that the top has not bee properly closed. the problem is that it has been closed properly. HELP
Make sure the charcoal water filter holder and all parts are sitting in their proper place. Remove and then put them back in place if needed. If it still beeps, unplug the coffeemaker from wall outlet for longer than 20 minutes, and you should be good to go again.

Tips for a great answer:
3. Press the CLOCK button until the desired brewing time is displayed
(See "How to Set the Clock" section of the manual).
4. Press the ON/OFF button to confirm the automatic time selected.
NOTE: The display panel and the on/off indicator light will flash.
5. Press the PROGRAM button to return to the current time of day (the
ON/OFF button will continue to flash.) The brewing cycle will begin
