There is a little white tab to the left hand side of the disk (as you look at te label side), slide it to the opposite direction of where it is, and try again.

The Write protection tab is in the lock position - it needs to be unlocked to transfer anything to it.

On the SD Card adapter housing for a Micro SD card, look along the edges and you will find a small tab. This tab slides back and forth to either lock or unlock the card. It is for write protecting you files.

How to put music on a gpx mp3 player?

Make sure your music files are in mp3 format, if you are trying to load wma's or some other format the player may not support it. You can also try going to my computer and finding the player, right click and then format the disk, but this will wipe everything off of the player

MP3 Player wont let me listen to music it says it has on it

If you already formatted the player itself, the songs itself may be in the wrong format. This player doesn't read iTunes files, for instance - it will look like they have transferrred, but you will not be able to play them.

Can't remove music

What I would recommend you to do is to format the player and then upgrade the firmware...you need to format the player thru windows media player not MY COMPUTER... to format using the WMP go to the sync tab and your device should be listed there and right click on the device and hit format...Hope this helps

Please rate accordingly..
Thank you

Sansa keeps shutting off/ wont read memory disk

The issue you have described with your portable device in most cases can be resolved by formatting your device. Please follow these steps even if you have already attempted them once before.

Please note that this will remove all music from your device.

Formatting the device in Windows Media Player

1. Open Windows Media Player with your MP3 player connected to the computer

2. At the top of windows Media Player select the Sync tab at the top

3. The MP3 player should be recognized on the right hand side and say "Your Player Name"

4. Above the player name is a button that says "Format Storage Media" click this button to erase all the data from the player

5. Continue with the acknowledgement of erasing all data on disk.

Look on the device, and check to see if a 'hold' button is pressed =]. Also, try right-clicking the removeable disk icon in my computer, going to properties and look to see if 'Read only' is checked.

Email me: too-many-secrets@hotmail.co.uk if it doesnt fix it :P.
