Question about Toshiba TN43V71 43" Rear Projection Television
When i turn the tv on the picture is blurry and it takes about three to four hours till i can see a sum what clearer picture. i need to know what is the problem and what i need to replace on it... someone told me it was the guns i needed to replace... is that the correct word for that??? And what do those parts look like???

This is a model first sold 2002.
They have a history of the Hyper board failing. Usually noise or lines in the picture and the warmup time gradually gets longer and longer.
This board processes all signal from all inputs inside the set and is no longer available from Toshiba.
The only way to get one is from a national company called PTS Electronics who rebuilds or repairs them--cost for rebuilt board is about 220 plus shipping and part number for this model is:
I have a service bulletin with photos of the board on my computer.
It is a financial decision, not a job for the average do it yourself person to attempt.
