Lexmark pro 715 keeps going offline after printing. How to fix.

Oh boy,
the last time this happened to me, I lost a rather good HP printer.
I was not able to save it due to the ink drying on important componets.
Sorry I have no constructive info for you, but I do wish you luck.

On the control panel of your printer, press on Setup > Maintenance > Deep Clean Printhead.

Make sure that the firmware of your printer is up to date. It makes your printer more reliable and more efficient. Just go to http://bit.ly/PZaAmK to download the firmware update.

1 With a document open, click File > Print.
2 Click Properties, Preferences, Options, or Setup.
3 Go to the:Layout tab > Print on Both Sides (Duplex) area > Print on both sides
- Click Long edge for print jobs with pages that are bound along the long edge of the page.
- Click Short edge for print jobs with pages that are bound along the short edge of the page.
4 Click the Paper/Finishing tab, and then select a supported paper type.
5 Click OK to close any printer software dialogs.
6 Click OK or Print.

Sorry, hit the wrong key... IF a different program prints okay, try again with the program that invoked the original issue.

Update windows and the offending program.

The piece that stumps people is the buffer. Print buffers sometimes do not purge easily, and you have to "bleed" the garbage out of the buffer, by turn off, and back on type of procedures.

To clean the printhead, on the control panel of your printer, press on Setup > Maintenance > Deep Clean Printhead.

Contact the printer customer service, they may need to install an updated driver (especially if the printer is a Lexmark).

re install the software again, dont skip nor ignore any info during installation
