Lol the cost of your internet will only change if you call them up and change your plan. if you go out and buy a new modem it will go the speed of the modem....so basically having a broadband connection with a 1mbps modem is like trying to force an elephant through a mouse hole....lol so to answer your question straight you get a new modem you'll get faster internet....have fun

RE: 3G wireless broadband. my computer runs slow when i download videos. could my 3G stick beweak or is it my server which is Mobi PCS be at fault?

3G is not a very fast way to watch video. The bandwidth is not wide enough. The standard bandwidth for 802.1 g is 54mbps the usually obtained bandwidth is in the region of 1mbps. This speed is good enough for a small screen resolution video. But for a larger screen resolution it is no way near fast enough. It is not your stick or your computer. it is just that you are using the wrong data transfer system for the job.

Hello, I dont think you need the drivers for Router. And first of all you need to connect your modem to your router through ethernet cable. And after connecting your modem, configure your wireless router by typing this IP address in internet explorer: 192.168.1.1 The user id is admin and the password is password. Then detect your broadband connection by using the option in the router. Try connecting your Laptop to wifi after setting the connection.

I want to set up my Wireless-G 2.4 GHZ 54Mbps

Are you trying to set up router ?
You can set up your router manually, without the CD.
Make sure that your computer is able to go online directly through the modem.
If your computer is able to go online through the modem, that means the modem is working fine.
You will need to connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router and change the settings of the router according to the ISP.

I have juno dsl want to go wireless bought router but it wont connect

You will need to follow these steps:
.
  1. Plug your pc strait into the DSL modem without using the router for now
  2. Open up a web browser and go to gateway.2wire.net
  3. Click on the Broadband Link icon.
  4. Click on Summary.
  5. Select PPPoE to be "off" "managed" or "remote" (not sure what Juno calls it)
  6. Now, plug your router into your pc and modem.
  7. Log into the routers config interface by going to the ip mentioned in the user manul (usually 192.168.2.1)
  8. Go to PPPoE settings.
  9. Enter in your Juno id and password
  10. Save settings
  11. Unplug your router and modem.
  12. Plug your modem back in, wait for it to boot, then plug your router back in.
  13. Done.
