Hi, do you have the MiniTuner module in the radio? You need that in, and the antenna connected facing the SW horizon. Turn on to SATellite. Adjust antenna so that you can hear Channel 1 clearly. After you hear channel 1, the satellite will send a time signal. Then go to MENU, select Adjust time and pick your time zone and if you are on Daylight Savings time. Then, menu to exit out. Your satellite signal will keep the time updated when in Satellite mode.
I don't know if that will also set the regular clock too, or just only the time while in satellite mode. Let me know how you do with it.
Give XM a call, since they merged the channel lineup has changed. Have them push a new activation signal to the unit, which should unlock the rest of the channels. However, the roady XT isn't exactly known for its reliability, so the receiver itself might be dead.
First, turn the radio on and off using the POWER button on the radio - do not just turn off the car or unplug it. Next, make sure your 'sleep timer' isn't set. Next, check your antenna signal level and make sure you're in a location that has at least 2 bars - move until you do.
Now, make sure that you leave the radio ON Channel 1 for at least a half an hour. You should then have your channels back - when you do get all your channels back, turn the radio on and off with the POWER switch, not by unplugging the unit, or pulling it out of the dock or turning off the car. Okay?
hi i think you might have the wrong software on the box, turn you tv on and put it on the sky channel take your viewing card out of the stb turn the box off then take the power lead out, wait till the stb powers down then put your finger on the backup button keeping it pressed put the power lead back in and holding the backup button wait till the on screen message comes on your tv, wait till the tv screen goes blank then put your card back in turn your box back on and try to record 2 channels at the same time this should solve the problem. if not it will be the cable or the quad lnb.
