Clean the metal moisture sensor with rubbing alcohol they are located on the grill inside the dryer on the front. or, the vent to your house is blocked some how, call someone to clean it.

Why would check vent light go on after replacing sensor and computer

Is the dryer vent blocked with lint? If there is a restriction in air flow in the vent system, the dryer will stop. Make sure the vent path is completely clean even in the wall where the vent hose connects.

Why is my Whirlpool cabrio platinum dryer leaking water, and taking over an hour to dry clothes?

Is this an older dryer? Long drying times are often caused by lack of good heating or poor air movement through the drum. Air movement depends on a properly turning fan and a clear exit of hot moist air to the outside vent. Check and see if you get a strong blast of air from your outside vent. If you don't, you may have a fan problem, plugged vent, or kinked vent tube. The water leaking could be because you don't have any drying going on due to the aforementioned problems.

Why isn't My Kenmore Heavy Duty 70 Series Soft Heat Extra Capacity Electric Dryer drying clothes on any one cycle?

One possibility: Air flow! Make sure that the lint trap is cleaned before each cycle. You likely need to thoroughly clean out the vent piping out the back of the machine- a buildup of lint in here can also restrict airflow.

Only dries on the heavy duty setting and sometimes we have to do that cycle twice

Is you lint trap clean? Also do the water test on the screen to make sure that it is really clean! http://www.fixya.com/support/r9552783-dryer_tips_cleaning_dryer_lint_trap

Also you need to check the exhaust vents and make sure that there is not a build up of lint in them, so that you have airflow. Can you tell if the fan is working? If not that would be the problem.

I have a whirlpool lgr5634a gas dryer, it heats up but does not seem to heat as high as it should.

possible of lint build up in the discharge vent vaccum/clean out first. next ensure the filter trap is clean and the below area is in the discharge area is cleaned out. also the sensor on the inside of the drum could be coated with sooftner causing the sensor that automaticly tells the dryer when top stop/ amount of heat to produce could be coated use isopropel alchol to clean and check after 10 minutes if the dyer is functioning properly at this time.

Cabrio dryer won't get hot only warm

Clean all lint out of the exhaust vents tubes You will be surprised to see it work again
A moister sensor detects lint build up and shuts the heat off or nearly off at all times

Whirlpool model # lgr7646ez3

Here are a list of causes that may contribute to this lack of sufficient drying.

CAUSE
• Lint screen is clogged with lint.
• Restricted air movement.
Exhaust vent or outside
exhaust hood is clogged with
lint.
• Exhaust vent is crushed or
kinked.
• One fuse is blown or circuit
breaker is tripped. The dryer
will appear to operate, but you
will not get any heat.
• Cycle Control knob or temperature
selector is set on air dry.
• Load not contacting the sensor
strips and automatic cycle
ending early.
• Fabric softener sheets blocking
exhaust grill.
• Dryer located in room with
temperature below 45ºF (7ºC).
• Large amount of moisture in
the load.
• Cold rinse water used.
• Load too large and bulky to
dry quickly.

Here are the solutions to combat the issues.

SOLUTION
• Clean lint screen.
• Run dryer for 5-10 minutes. Hold hand under
outside exhaust hood to check air movement. If you
do not feel air moving, clean exhaust system of lint
or replace exhaust vent with heavy metal or flexible
metal vent.
• Replace with heavy metal or flexible metal vent

• Replace fuse or reset breaker.
• Select the right cycle and temperature for the types
of garments being dried.
• Level dryer.
• Use only one softener sheet per load and only use
it once.
• Move dryer to a location with temperatures above
45ºF (7ºC).
• Expect longer dry times with items that hold more
moisture (cottons).
• Expect longer dry times.
• Separate load to tumble freely.

This will help you fix this problem. i suspect an exhaust obstruction.

Kenmore Elite Heavy Duty Dryer 11063012101 Takes Forever to Dry

I think your vent has lint in the line between the wall and the outside of your house not allowing the moisture to get out

FIX

1 when the dryer is running go outside and observe the vent to see if hot air is coming out

2 Turn dryer off, disconnect electric from wall

3 pull dryer out from wall

4 take a nut driver or screw and remove the clamp that attaches the flex vent pipe to the wall

4 Also remove the flex pipe from the dryer

5 Inspect inside vent connection inside dryer for any trapped lint

6 inspect inside flex line for any lint

7 Look inside wall vent for lint you can also reach in with your hand to feel for lint

8 If you have a leaf blower or can borrow one(electric is best) from your neighbor put the snout of the blower into the vent going into the wall seal the area between the snout and the vent pipe at the wall ( i use duct tape you can use wash clothes rags etc

9 start blower and blow any lint in the line out through outside THIS WILL CLEAR THE LINT

10 Reattach the flex to the wall vent and dryer , plug in. run a load and you should be back in business

Good Luck
