Question about Motorola Mobility Moto Q

Active Sync stopped automatically syncing my Outlook e-mail

My other e-mail accounts come through, but for Outlook I have to manually sync my cell to get those e-mails.I installed Windows Mobile on my Vista machine. The first time I used it I was able to sync my Motorola Q to my Outlook. However, since that first time, I cannot get my Motorola Q to connect to the Windows Mobile.

With the phone connected and synchronized, open active sync.
click tools,....options,....click the e-mail box (Check mark will appear in box) then right mouse on e-mail and click settings make your adjustments on that page, before leaving that page, click select folders, place a check mark in folders you wish to sync. close that window, click OK in e-mail sync setting window, click OK in settings window. settings will be saved, next time you sync, outlook will sync.

(I have the same phone and use active sync as well)

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Treo 650 is not syncing with outlook calendar, but syncing with everything else.

You may have tried Exchange ActiveSync in VersaMail When you setup an Exchange ActiveSync account in VersaMail, you are asking your Treo to synchronize email and your calendar with an Exchance 2003 server. In order to prevent duplicates, VersaMail disables Calendar synchronization via HotSync while the account exists on your Treo. So if you are an Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) user, you have a choice; you either sync wirelessly or you can delete the EAS account in VersaMail and can then sync your Calendar via HotSync. You cannot do both unfortunately.

Does the ipaq 2215 work with Outlook 2002?

Active Sync will work with many version of outlook. Your PDA interfaces with Active Sync. Certain versions of Windows Mobile software and/or PDA's require higher versions of active sync to sync correctly.

boot_c_03.08.00r_mpap Paul Sager from FixYa has posted a solution for this problem previousley (as below). I have tried the Motorola and Verizon sites (tried the store as well) and the software is not available to flash the phone. Do you know of a site that would still have it available? Or can this question be sent to Paul to further comment on it? All I want to do is recover the phone numbers, notes and calandar from the phone via Activesync or Windows. Paul Sager 2335 Solutions July 14, 2010 I can help you with your Motorola Moto Q. What has happened is that the firmware of your phone has become corrupted. When this happens your phone will no longer finish its boot sequence. This is a very common situation with many phones: in fact, much of what I do here at Fixya is explain how people can fix their MP3 players, GPS and phones by reflashing the firmware. The good news is that if you take your phone into your carrier's store, they can reflash it for you right there (if they have a competent tech handy.) If you are comfortable with computers etc, you can also do it yourself. Your computer will communicate with and fix your phone, even though it doesn't seem to recognize it right now - I've seen this many many times. My only warning for you is that if you are going to flash your phone yourself, you need to get the correct firmware from motorola's site for your carrier. I just downloaded the Verizon firmware as an example - Motorola's website has about ten different carrier firmwares for their MotoQ phone. I hope that helps.
