Re: i can not hear sound from laptop
Check the device manager and see if you have a audio driver. To do this go to Start, then right click computer, go to properties, when the next window pops up go to Hardware, and click device manager. There you can see what your audio is saying

Right click speaker icon on bottom of the laptop. Or go into START menu and search for SOUNDS. Click PLAYBACK and right click the speaker to see if it is disabled. If nothing is there try to right click and SHOW DISABLED DEVICES. You should be able to enable the sound from there. Hope it works. You could always try a SYSTEM RESTORE as well..
you can go to the website and redownload the audio driver for your laptop this is easily done by going to toshiba.com and download a new audio driver below i have a link to the website with your sound driver
You need to goto
the manufacturers website, find their support section and there should be a
list of drivers for your specific machine. Installing these will resolve your
problem. Toshiba drivers are linked on my website.
Try checking the drivers on the Toshiba for the audio . Try updating them online and also try a bios update . Then check, Also in safe mode is the sound working ?? And if not try to check the sound in BIOS . Press random keys and check if sound comes . If it does not come hardware issue . if it comes software issue . If its a software issue try a restore or a recovery .
I don't think it would be a problem to find any driver for your laptop at the Toshiba website.
If you have installed non-Toshiba items, those you would have to get from the add-on manufacturers website.
