Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Can Vista Home Premium be upgraded to window's 7?

If you're running a 32-bit version of Windows Vista, you can only upgrade to a 32-bit version of Windows 7. Similarly, if you are running a 64-bit version of Windows Vista, you can only upgrade to a 64-bit version ofWindows 7. Otherwise, you'll need to use the Custom option to install Windows 7.

I have win 7 ultimate installed after a system crash on my win 7 home premium os and they are requesting an activation code. My friend installed and i cannot reach them...what , if anything, can I do?

Only use the version that your system has a license to. The OS will start a decommissioning process as time goes by.

Back up your files. Wipe clean and re-install Win 7.

A free legal Windows image can be downloaded. Check the MS Product Key sticker for what version your system came with. You will have to use your key. IT MUST BE THE SAME VERSION.

Vista home basic product key built 6002- 2007 32 bit any chance u could send me 1

Jay,

If you have a copy of Microsoft Windows Vista 32-bit, but do not have your product key then you will have to purchase one from Microsoft. I hope you were not sold the copy of Windows w/o the key as this is illegal.

If you obtain a key from anyone else, this will result in fraud, and you will most likely be notified that your software is "not genuine". My recommendation would be to purchase a new licensed copy of Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium. You can pick up an OEM version from newegg for about $120.00.

Good Luck Jay!
