It will reset as soon as it can make sure the problem is fixed. You should check your High limit switch and also check your thermalcouple to make sure that it is sensing the flame. You can tell if it needs replaced by the white soot build up on the sensor

Mobile Home Furnace Problem. I have replaced the furnace "board" [$150.00] and the thermostat [$65.00] and my furnace still turns itself off during night time hours - only. Is there anything else...

What you are describing is a lock-out condition that occurs after the furnace attempts to establish flame three times (usually) and fails, necessitating manual cycling of the power to 'reset' the circuit board. Its unusual that it is only happening at night unless the night temps drop extremely lower in you location than the daytime temps and the heat loss is greater so the furnace needs to come on more ofter. Hmmm.... Still a bit odd.

I'd have a tendency to inspect the flame rod or flame sensor and its connections back to the 'sensor' spade clip on the circuit board. It is responsible for signalling the control board that the flame has been established so gas can continue to flow feeding the flames. If it does not send the signal in a few short seconds after the gas valve opens, it shuts the system down and it re establishes the cycle again....only up to three times before a lockout.

Your system may not have a separate flame sensor and if not the ignition electrode or hot surface igniter itself performs double duty as the ignition device AND the flame sensor. If so, check the connections and make sure there is no oxidation between the wire and the connector.

Heater runs but then dies out and smokes replaced fuel hoses is it the spark plug maybe

The spark ignition electrode is done doing its job as soon as flame is established. I'm thinking your infra-red eye is possibly the culprit. It 'sees' the infra-red given off by the flame to hold the fuel valve open. It is a glass eye that may not be perfectly aligned to 'see' the flame or it could have a dirty lens. Clean it first and try again. Try to make sure it is properly aligned to see the flame when it is established.

What does it mean when my goodman furnace is flashing a red light and will not work.

It is in Lockout mode. Something has happened to make it go into lockout.
It could be an easy fix. Look of cobwebs in the tubing between the proving switch and the draft inducer motor. Look for air restrictions in the chimney flue. Rusty burners (if applicable). Tripped rollout switches. Some times there could be up to 2 roll out switches on the burner and another in the flue and 2 others in between stuff. . Most times it is a dirty flame sensor. Over the summer the flame sensor gets dusty and the sensitivity gets off. The control fails to FEEL the probe and locks out the gas valve. Most times the failure will be defines by the amount of blinks the red light emits. The sub panel has a guide on it that tells what the blinks mean.

What does a Ignition Lockout (red LED blinking 3 times) mean?

The flashing light is the service code telling Joe blow that there is something wrong. As you didn't tell me the brand of car I can't tell you what that code means. Some cars will trip out a code based on milage. ( Company Scam ),

I have a gmn-080-4 furance,I'm getting the 1 flash LED code due to a failure to establish flame.PLEASE HELP

The 1 light flash is because of a rollout switch being tripped. they are little switches usually with a red reset button in the center, Sometimes they are a one time burn out device. If they are tripped try to find out why they tripped and fix the problem.
You can find out more here... go to page 39

I hope that this will help you to solve your problem!

Thanks for using Fixya!!

Just relpace a seized up inducer motor/flu vent. 3 red blinks

the diagnostic codes should be listed next to the wiring schematic on the inside of the blower compartment door. if the inducer motor was bad I bet you have a tripped flame rollout switch around the burners. look for a very small red button between two wires on a disk around the burners. push on the red button to reset the switck. this should turn your furnace back on.
