I bought 2 Motorola bpr40 Mag One radios, but one is used and their channels do not match. How do I return them to factory defaults?

Did you read the Manual? It looks like it has Volume Buttons on the side and may be set to Zero volume?

BPR40 radios are dealer programmable using Motorola proprietary software and cable.

these usually use a diode for reverse polarity protection and no fuses. You will need a full schematic and probably a service manual.

Mt mag one bpr40 uhf 450/470 will receive but will not transmit. green light is on all the time

It probably has "busy channel inhibit" turned on in the menus, and the squelch is open, thus making it think there is a signal on the channel you're trying to use.

Have two bpr40 need to find out the frequencys

The BPR40 is a dealer programmable radio. The frequencies would need to be read out using Motorola proprietary software. The only thing you can tell from looking at the radio is whether it is VHF or UHF. Model number AAH84K... is VHF and AAH84R... is UHF.

What do the buttons on the bpr 40 do?

Both buttons have a short and a long press function. The button right below the PTT button is typically programmed to short press Monitor, long press Sticky Monitor. The bottom button comes from the factory on scan/nuisance channel delete. The buttons can be custom programmed when the dealer is programming the radio, so these are just a general guess based on the factory default setting. Other options include repeater talkaround, high/low power, volume set, and maybe tight loose squelch.

How do I connect Mag One BPR40 two way radio by Motorola to CP100 two way radio by Motorola? I already had about 8 CP100's and we just got 2 new Mag One's. Thanks.

The Mag One BPR40 is dealer programmable. You have two choices:

1) Reprogram your CP100s to match the new BPR40s. For this you would need to know what the dealer programmed the BPR40s to... OR
2) Take your BPR40s back to the place of purchase and request they reprogram them to match your CP100s. This should be a free service since you just purchased the BPR40s. They will need to know some settings from the CP100s to make the match.

Bought a used Motorloa Mag One BPR40 at a tag sale and then bought a new one. The used one looks like it was used by a business so it was probably "programmed." How do i get the two BPR's...

Your radios will need to be programmed by a Motorola dealer. The software used to program the radios is a Motorola proprietary software and not for sale, but most dealers have a subscription to it.

The loud buzzing indicates the channel you are on is not programmed.

The BPR40 is only programmable by Motorola proprietary software. The easiest method for programming them to match one another would be to take them to a dealer. Prices vary, so you might want to call around and price check your area dealers.
