When I add a transaction in Pocket Quicken, it does not get transferred into Quicken 2002. All HotSync parameters seem in order. All transactions from Quicken 2002 are downloaded into PQ on HotSync.
When I was using Quicken 99 and PQ v 1.0, it worked fine...
Peter J. Ricciardiello < I too have a an issue when I sync. In my case no transaction ever get listed. Has this issue been resolved.
Other issue i have - 1. In can no longer backup my qif file. Message "File not backed up". This work fine until 14 Jun 02 2. I no longer send online bill payment via checkfree through the internet. Yes my account is enabled at checkfree. This was work until just resently. I keep getting asked to setup my modem, but I doing this via the internet and a cable modem. CheckFree provide more support then Inuit/Quicken. I also get a message stating that I have outstanding transaction that must be accepted. Wrong there are no tranactions listed, I say accept all then continue, this function is looping!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've validated, I've super validated without error whats up!!!!!!!!

Thank you for your insights. My answers follow your lead. BTW, Intuit suggest, after three messages, a clean install of both Q2002 and PQ... I guess that's all I'm left with, at this point...

Since you indicated that it appears that you are receiving new Quicken transaction into PQ, then issues like an incorrect password or an incorrect Quicken data file name in HotSync's PQ options would not be relevant.
Have you checked the HotSync log (found either on the Palm in the HotSync utility or off the LOG menu option of the PC's HotSync menu)? What does it report for the PocketQuicken Hotsync?
You stated you checked the HotSync options. Did you do this in PocketQuicken on the Palm, or did you do this in the HotSync utility itself on the PC? I do recall an option in the PocketQuicken Hotsync menu that allows you to specify what to sync up with the PC's Quicken. Perhaps the option to upload new transactions became disabled?
With Q2001 and Q2002, the transactions coming from PocketQuicken do not go directly to the register. Instead they go to a "match window" that allows you to accept them as NEW transactions, match them to existing transactions already in your register, or delete them outright. This is different than how Q99 processed incoming transactions. Thus, a few ideas relating to this Quicken change come to mind:
After you HotSync, open Quicken. When you open the account register to which you are uploading transactions, Quicken should be sensing the new transactions and opening the match window automatically at the bottom of the register. Do you see this window appear when you open the register?
Quicken does offer a "Accept All" button when new transactions appear in the match window. If pushed, this button will accept whatever status was deduced by the matching algorithm. If this algorithm mistakenly matched these incoming transactions to existing transactions already in the register, it will look as if the incoming transactions disappeared when, in reality, they were matched to these existing transactions. That would make it look as if the PQ transactions are not importing correctly.
