If she can hear you - your mic is fine The most likely cause would be her mic or your speakers - did you make your speakers default in Skype? Vista TEST SPEAKERS Right click on speaker icon in System Tray or from Control Panel Select "Playback Devices" The speaker icon ( checked as working) and volume level graph should be visible Right click on the volume graph and click "Test" Left hand speakers followed by right hand should be heard
Use the software you have loaded but try operating in Compatibility Mode
Right click on the webcam icon on your desktop or the webcam file from 'All Programs' - select 'Properties' Select the 'Compatibility' tab Select 'Compatibility Mode' Use the dropbox to show the OS Click OK Restart your computer
Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall
the CD software program. When the program asks you to connect the
camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
