When I print a word doc, the print is normal. However, just recently it will not print website material in the normal (the way it appears on screen) I have a Canon Pixma1500. I have not changed any settings to cause this problem.

In order to print both DOC and PDF you need to have both PCL6 and PostScript drivers installed on the PC. One is for Word documents and the other will support PDF printing. You can get the drivers from DELL website. http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen
The font size is due to the printing material i mean the doc , pdf files. The printer doesnot have any fonts. You will get the same font of your input.Increase the font in your input material.Automatically you will get bigger fonts
Well before printing, you can copy & paste it on a word document. After that, increase font or change colour.
You can do file \ print \ properties \effetcs tab \ % of normal size! Here you can increase the size using the slider.

At the settings properties of your printer there is the abbility to change the mode of printing. Like High resolution, Normal, Normal Fast, Draft printing. Change to Normal fast or draft and your document will be printed in seconds!
first ensure that you have done your part in your application software first, you cannot enlarge it on your printer it must be done before printing, say in word doc, the printer is only dependent on the file you will send, hope this helps
Are you by chance trying to print in "Fast Normal" mode? The pre-installed Vista driver for the HP PSC series is definitely buggy, but I've had success in many programs that wouldn't print at first by sticking to Fast, Normal, and Best print modes in the "Print Properties" window. Also, don't attempt to install the software from the disc that came with the printer if you're using Vista. The software isn't compatible with Vista and will wreak havoc on your system.
You can also go to your device manager and uninstall the driver, then go to Windows Update to try and get the most recent version through the Windows website. Good Luck.
Is the issue the same with a anormal text document or just with heavily colored docs?
If the text doc gets printed fine, then it is an issue with print spooler and we might need to work on that.
revert & lemme know
I don't think it is a printer problem as such more a communication problem.
Un install the printer software.
Close down the Computer.
Unplug the printer.
Start the computer.
Come off line.
Disable the A/V software.
Run the installation disk
only plug in printer when prompted
