My fridge stopped cooling. The inside fan, lights and controls all work. The fan for the cooling coils still works and I've cleaned the dust, lint and crude off of the coil. I don't think the condenser working, no noise or heat. The coils inside the freezer are not freezing up, they are not even getting cold. I changed the flapper door assembly last year some time to fix the freezing food in the refrigerator side problem. Are there any troubleshooting steps I can do or am I stuck throwing parts at it to fix my problem. I've read the main board is problematic with this model. Do I change the main board, is my condenser shot or is the another answer? Thanks
Unplug the unit and pull the relay off the compressor and shake it to see if it rattles. If it does, the relay is bad and will need to be replaced. Here is that part to order.
Here is the overload relay that should be replaced also.
Is you pull the relay and it does not rattle, post back the results to me.
Here is a video to help you out.

I would go with the circuit board first. GE has serious problems with the ones they are using.
