Thin black plastic belt for 2400W

Hello, I have a question about a part that I don't know the name of. It's basically the thin black plastic belt that you see when you open the lid. it's attached to the lid. It's behing the instructions on how to load an envelope. It's about the width of a sheet of paper, and spins around two rollers. Anyway, my son got to it and messed it up. Can it be replaced. Where can I find the part? and what is it called? Thank you

This was my exact problem. When scanning from the ADF, I had a vertical black line down every page. I cleaned the larger glass surface several times with no effect. Then, I discovered that ADF scans do NOT use the large glass area, but use the smaller, thinner glass area on the left side. It has a piece of thin plastic over the top of the glass. The scanner is fixed and the paper rolls through this area. So, if a speck of dirt is under the thin plastic piece or on top of the glass or on top of the thin plastic, it results in a black line down the whole page. Aha, so now I cleaned the thin plastic (both sides) and the top of the glass under the thin plastic - actually saw the black dot that was causing the problem and voila, problem solved.

Error 5100

solution 1:
  • Look inside for a tiny object like a piece of paper, a staple...

Solution 2:
  • The purge cap (the white sliding mechanism that the print head parks to when it's not in use) may be not lubricated well enough . Lubricate the sliders with some white grease (don't get it on the small wipers or the black caps); this repair probably require to remove the right panel off of the printer to gain access to the purge mechanism.

Solution 3:
  • Clean the timing strip: there is a thin plastic strip running across the width in front of and below the drive belt: there are fine black vertical lines on this strip. If the strip gets a piece of crud on it, you get an error during the start-up sequence.Gently clean this strip with a damp lint-free tissue.

The stop button on my record player doesn't stop the record from spinning and the needle arm won't play through an entire record

hey there Jack, I have the exact same turntable and had the exact same problem. It's a pretty simple fix.

The control arm for the stop button, more then likely, got pushed a bit too far back.

Now bare with me, because I don't know the names of the mechanisms, but I'll try to make it sound simple.

First you're going to take off plate and belt, because you're going to be taking off the bottom cover of your turntable. If you don't remove the plate & belt, when you flip over the turntable, it's all going to fall and you could damage your belt.

Next your going to flip over the turntable and remove the screws that are holding on the bottom cover on. I think there are 5 of them.

Now that the cover is off, look at where the play and stop buttons are. Follow the thin metal arms that are connected to them. They should end at a white plastic piece (sorry, I don't know the name of it). Now check if the stop arm is hooked behind it or if it's pressed against the front of it. The stop arm should be RESTING ON THE FRONT of the white plastic piece.

If it's hooked behind the plastic piece, carefully pull it out and then place it against the front of the white plastic piece and you should be good to go.

The ERROR light of my Minolta magicolor 2400W Laser Printer stays on. I have inserted a new drum and all the cartridges are full. What do I do?

Try to open the blue cover and close it. Then press a few times the "rotate toner" button. After that powerswitch off and on, should run.
If it´s don´t worked, make sure you have every transport secure away from the cartridges.
The contact`s should be clean in Printer and on cartridges.
If still the same prob, start from first tip.
It´s worked by my 2400W feed new toner.
