Question about Sony BM-147 Desktop Cassette Transcriber / Recorder
When i press play on the foot pedal sometimes nothig happens. I have to push it several times before the transcriber will play. Seems to be a short in the connection between the transcriber and foot pedal. Can this be fixed?
You probably have a broken pedal here is one in a great price
Or if you feel better to send unit to service try this.
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call (800) 644-9525. Please indicate model, serial and detailed description of problem

Hello on a BM-147 there is only one adjustment responsible
for auto back space when you used foot pedal and that adjustment is next to the Display is
call Reverse Time that controls the reverse function when you take foot control
off from play but if the problem is when you take the foot off on REW and unit
keeps going you have a bad foot pedal you can get a replacement at http://www.tvps.com/Products/ECS-Sony-IN-75-Heavy-Duty-Foot-Pedal---Pre-Owned__ECS-PIN-75.aspx
