Question about TimeValue Software TValue 4.0 for PC
TValue 4 for window was working fine with my old printer (a laser jet) but I recently got a new printer (HP Laser Jet P2055dn) and now when I try to print the amortization schedule and error comes up and shuts the program down. Help!
This is a work around as I have the same problem. If I change the default printer to something other then the HP printer, then select Page Setup, I can then select the HP without the program erroring out. You can even set the HP back to default and TValue will continue to work fine until you restart the computer.

TValue 4 is a 16 bit application which was last updated in 1997. By using a new printer you are mixing old and new technology and therin compatibility becomes an issue.
The only work around is to return to your old printer, or purchase the new version of TValue which is compatible with newer OS like Windows 7.

I was able to get around this buy setting up a driver definition for a LJ P4015 using driver for LJ 4000 and pointing the the IP for the LJ P4015. Apparently the LJ 4000 is 16 bit.
