Question about Boston Acoustics BA735 Computer Speakers

1 Answer

Only one computer speaker recieving a signal

Right speaker stopped working for all programs (internet, itunes, media player). It's very quiet compared to left. Balance settings are ok. If I switch L-R speaker cables, right works and left doesn't so problem is before that I guess. Do the volume knobs go bad? Input cable from cpu to woofer bad? Or is it more likely some other internal setting that got changed? The system is 10+ years old.

The brand name is Boston but I'm not sure the model number is correct. I had to enter something. It's basically 2 small desktop speakers, subwoofer, and volume knob. All white color.

Have you tried these speakers on another computer?

Fist time MP3 owner, where to start with this thing? 6th gen nano.

Hello

Yous should start by connecting it to your computer via the USB cable and you should install iTunes. After that, you can drag your mp3 files to your iTunes program then Sync your iPod with iTunes to copy the songs. It is a bit complicated compared to other mp3 players where you can just drag and drop the files without installing any software.. But you will get used to it soon..

Have fun!

2 speakers no sound

1. Check that your computer has not "muted" the sound.
2. Check that the audio-cable from the speakers is connected to the "line-out" (green) connector on your computer.
3. Check that the speakers are getting power.
4. Try connecting the speakers to the audio output from an iPod.
They may be "quiet", but, at 100%, you should hear something.
5. Start -> Control Panel -> Classic View -> System -> Hardware
to see that the correct software "drivers" for your sound-card are installed.
6. Check that your music-player (Windows Media Player, iTunes, WinAmp, et cetera) is not "muted" or at less than 5% volume.

Itunes downloads jump is it a problem of computer

What you're describing sounds like it would be a problem with your media player, which in this case would be iTunes. Try playing music through another media player ( Like Windows Media Player ) and see if music still jumps. If it still does, then it's a computer issue, if it doesn't, it's just iTunes. The music jumping shouldn't have anything to do with your speakers.
