Your not gonna find a belt because the belts on these units are not designed to be replaced by the consumer and would need to go to a service station

We have an Electrolux Epic vacuum and have a clogged hose

Hi, it's Allie from Crucial Vacuum!

Keeping your vacuum's hose unclogged and clear is very crucial to maintaining your unit running properly. Start by unplugging your unit for security reasons. Detach the hose from both ends of the unit and wand. If there is a clog you can use the end of a broom stick to gently push out the clog. Be very careful with this as you do not want to tear your hose.

If the problem doesn't seem to be a clog you may need to take a look at your belt and brush roller.

Most brush rollers can be fixed with a good cleaning. If there is too much debris cluttered around the roller and bearings, it will be unable to turn properly. Since the brush roller is connected to the belt, a dirty roller can overstrain the belt causing it to break or burning out the motor. A vacuum belt assist in turning the roller using tensions. Over time, a vacuum belt will stretch out and lose tension. A vacuum belt should be change every 6-12 months.

How do I adjust the belt on the ergorapido? It's making a noise and seems to be off center.

This model does not have a belt it is a direct drive motor in the bottom unit. Turn the head over so you are looking at the brush, to one side is a screw which a coin (penny works just right) will turn. Take out this small cover and remove the brush unit. Clean the ends of hair or whatever is clogging it up and set it back in place, be sure to engage the brush teeth at the other end. Hope this helps Fix Ya up. Be sure to clean the filters yes there are two, one is inside the other.

I have a electrolux Pronto 2 in 1 and the suction really never seems strong plus the brush in the base doesn't turn and the vacuum has been plugged in for two days. how can I get more suction and make the...

There is a filter inside the main filter. Once that filter gets clogged it will loose suction. Pull the filter and clean it, you can wash it by hand. Turn the unit roller side up and check for a small screw cover that you can use a dime to loosen. This cover is used to remove the roller unit. Once out check and clean then check the gear assy. for miss-alignment.

The brush turns then it stops. Does anyone else have this problem?

The reason its stopping is because the belt is stretched out and when it rests on carpet or floor the weight of the vacuum presses down on floor causing more stretching and straining on belt. When belt heats from friction it gets softer thus causing more slippage.

You have broken the rubber belt that drives the brush. Flip over and remove the old belt and replace it with a new one.
