Hello there

You can go to Ebay.com and type in power supply and they will put up a list 4 you and you can get one there. make sure you get the same one as you got and the same volts. it will tell you on your power supply what you have. good luck anymore question let me know.
best regards Richard

Dell 4700c will not power on white light on motherboard

Hi,
Is there any chance for you to check if the power supply blows air from inside of the power supply? If yes, on your motherboard, do disconnect the P1 cable or the main power supply cable that connects to the motherboard and the P2 cable which. and try to plug the power cord of the power supply and if the fan did not spin, power supply is the one causing the problem

You may also try to remove the RAM or memory card module from the motherboard and all of the PCI card connected to the motherboard. Try to turn on the system and check the power supply fan and the CPU fan if it will spin. If not then I recommend you to replace the power supply.

On the other hand, if the fan is spinning on the power supply after you remove all the RAM and PCI cards. And the power button light is flashing amber or solid amber color. Try to install RAM 1 by 1 to isolate the problem.

Let me know if the problem persist

Power Supply fan is not working in ThinkCentre M50 8189 D6G

Thanks for asking ...simply check the power supply fan....remove the Power supply(SMPS) from your system 1st....then remove the fan in it....try to rotate it by hands.....if it is not rotating smothly then it needs lubrication & your power supply unit needs cleaning.....if it is working fine then check the fan power section in Power supply...

Want turn on getting number 1 and 3 flashing

Your Power Supply has gone bad mate... known problem. You need to swap out the old power supply with a new one or maybe a working one (if you have another system)... the procedure is fairly clearly documented on the Dell Site n no Tags needed for that... :-)

Hi i am having a problem with my hp 65 watt ac adapter it is getting very hot to the point were it will burn you to touch it!is it sopost to do this or do i have a serious problem?

This is pending doom for your systems mother board if you do not replace the power supply, the first thing you will notice is the loss of use with your USB ports if this happens the next thing will be the video and other motherboard components, You should unplug the power from the wall and get a replacement power supply, If you would like to save a few dollars, you could use a universal power adaptor, stay away from the RadioShack you will save money there. The power supply from HP is a little over 1 hundred dollars- the after market power supplys should run about $35.00 to $65.00.
