When I plug the Ipod touch 4th generation all that comes up is ITouch sign and plug to the computer. I can't get it to do nothing.

Seeing the IToucgh sign is a good sign. Your unit should function as programmed. To start using your ITouch, first download and install itunes on yor computer. A small manual should have been included in your unit when you bought it. Follow the instructions printed there.
Once you have downloaded and installed itunes on your computer, you can start loading music, movies, pictures, and applications in your ITouch.

I dont have any songs movies or podcasts but do have 4 and half pages of apps. it says that i have 5.11 gbs already used in the category of other, what is the problem.

You need to connect your touch to your pc open itunes ... click on the icon that is representing your touch on the left hand side of the screen. When this shows up on the main screen look at the tabs at the top the are labeled music movies podcast pictures etc etc ... you need to go into each on and select what you want on your touch.. if you want your complete library of music you would select that and then hit apply at the bottom of the page. The same goes for movies ... etc etc . if you want just certain songs from your library then go to your music make a new playlist from the (i believe) edit tab. Highlight the song you want and then right click select add to playlist. When you have selected the songs you want go back into your itouch ( using the icon on the left hand side of the screen) go the the music tab and select that playlist from the options there and wise with movies and podcasts. hope this helps

No only the 2nd Gen+ itouches have the speakers built in, generation 1 itouches dont have speakers, so you must use the microphones. (The speakers arent that loud anyways.)

Music on Itouch shows up in Itunes but Itouch says No content add from Itunes

First you need to restart your itouch.
Then, plug it in to your computer and wait for iTunes to pop up.
Select a few songs from your library or some movies that you have and drag them to your iPod.
What I did was, dragged some movies on my itouch to the tv shows folder as soon as i did this everything popped back on to my screen
