When I put a load of washing in turn the timer to Normal wash and press it to start the machine.
The problem is that it is very slow to fill with water and when it is full the water is still running and the timer will not advance to the next cycle.

Hi my name is joyce, sounds like you have trash in you water filter that is in your water line that comes in your machine in the back of washer, this may be the cause for the slow water and the timer will cause the machine not to advance to the next cycle, if you would like I will help to find a service techincian.

Hi, our simpson enduro 701 washing machine does not spin back and forward in the deep rinse cycle. but operates ok and spins in spin cycle. thankyou Tina.

Hi Tina just read your posting. From the information in your posting the machine fills, then when the machine is full of water the agitator moves clockwise then anticlockwise until it gets to the rinse cycle then drains the water ,then it fills for the rinse cycle but does not move the agitator in the rinse cycle. Then it drains and spins the clothes dry .Is this assessment of your posting correct. If it is not 100% correct please reply to tell me what the machine is doing or not doing. If it is correct then the problem with your machine is the control board. Is your model the electronic one with the push buttons?Looking forward to your reply.

Locating the fusebox

The breaker box is located on the wall of your house. There is not a fuse in this machine.

Possibly the timer. next time it wont stop filling turn off the washer. if it still fills you have a water valve issue. Hope for the valve. Timers are big bucks.

After the water pumps out on each of the cycles the spin does not go or start and it gets stuck there.
